Residential Gutter Selection and Installation Process

  1. Material, Style & Color Selection
    Homeowners can choose from various types of gutters, including K-Style Gutters, Half-Round Gutters, and Box Gutters. The most common are K-Style and Half-Round, which can be made from materials such as vinyl, aluminum, stainless steel, or copper. Select from over 20 colors to find the perfect match for your home’s exterior.
  2. Measurement and Calculation
    Our team measures the dimensions of your home to determine how much gutter material will be needed. They will also assess the pitch of the roof and the area’s rainfall intensity to calculate the proper size and capacity for the gutters.
  3. Gutter Fabrication
    Some gutters, like seamless gutters, are fabricated on-site to fit the exact dimensions of your home. This process involves a machine that forms flat metal coil stock into the desired gutter profile.
  4. Gutter Installation
    Our installation team attaches the gutters to your home using hangers, brackets, and screws. The gutters must be pitched so that water can flow towards the downspouts.
  5. Downspout Installation
    Downspouts are attached to the gutters to direct the water from the gutters to the ground or drainage system. The number and placement of downspouts are crucial for the system to handle the volume of water effectively.
  6. Inspection and Cleanup
    After installation, our project supervisor will inspect the work to ensure everything is functioning correctly, ensure the work area is left as clean and tidy as when we arrived, and provide a walkthrough to review the completed work with you.
